Sharpness:

Very good sharpness for the whole field of view, if you turn your head. If looking straight, just the center is sharp, the edge will look blurred.

x-axis: distance from optical axis in °, y-axis: resolution in arc minutes

Apparent Field of View:

The apparent field of view is approx. 50°, a little bit less than the manufacturer data.

Contrast:

Very good contrast.

Aberration:

Noticeable cushion distortion. Typical for the Kellner design distortion changes with the look angle, therefore the image is rotating a little bit when turning the head.

Eye Relief:

Very comfortable.

Mechanical Quality:

Relatively simple, but not bad.

Summary:

A fine and optically good eyepiece. Do not use with telescopes faster than F/6.
